The 26-meter-high structure was built in 1909 and is visible from afar. The Carolinenturm and its surroundings are preserved, maintained, and perfected by the non-profit association Kötschberggemeinde e.V. (Kötschberg Community). 106 steps lead up to the platform.

In sweltering 30° we didn't see a soul on the popular hiking trail and Kötschberg. But the horseflies 🦟 were particularly aggressive 😳. Despite the heat and night shift, we decided to go for a short ride and collected 2 ♟️♟️ 😊 😃😎

When we arrived at the parking lot, the smell of delicious food was already there. A very beautiful forest house and not far away is the Carolinenturm with a stunning view of the Weimar region.

Today we spent another wonderful day with @Andikes &@Ds.🫶😘
That felt so good 👍 after the not-so-easy past weeks and months.
Thank you so much for that, you two.🫶😘

Finally, there was a reunion with @Küstenkind and @Don Raloffo 🫶. From Müllershausen, we walked together to the Carolinenturm, where @Küstenkind pressed the ♟️345 into the booklet 😊. It continued to the Casparibank, where the next stamp was. For us, it was a null round in terms of stamps, we already had them 😊. Never mind, company alone counts 😄 …

A few minutes' drive from Bad Berka was the next stop, Müllershausen.
There is a forest restaurant there that is always very well attended.
A short walk to the Carolinenturm, the second tower in the region on the "Drei Turme Weg"
2 stamps were to be collected on the short 2nd walk of the day.
