Heringsdorf Beach Promenade

Highlight • Beach

Since 2012, a twelve-kilometer-long promenade has led from Swinoujscie (Swinemünde) in the Polish part of the island of Usedom over the three imperial baths to Bansin. Almost half of this promenade along the Baltic Sea is in the area of the Heringsdorf seaside spa. On the promenade, which consists of a wide sidewalk and a cycle path, you can see many spa architecture buildings and stop off at shops, restaurants and cafés.

Heringsdorf Beach and Pier

Highlight • Beach

This is the Heringsdorf main beach

Heringsdorf offers a white sandy beach, a beautifully planted promenade with roses and, in general, wonderful resort architecture. Here you will find a very well-kept seaside resort with lots to offer for young and old. For sporty guests, there are trampolines, pedal boats, water skis, a slide and much more to the east of the pier. After so much sport, there is the opportunity to get rid of sweat and sand under freshwater showers in the beach toilets.

To round off the day after all the activities, there is also a beach bar here. The very long and beautiful pier invites you to have a small snack in between meals.
There is a sophisticated atmosphere in the evening. The fact that guests dress smartly contributes to this.

The Korbwerk, the Heringsdorf beach chair manufacturer, advertises its products with the slogan “Old school, new design”. In XXL format you can admire the craftsmanship next to the pier, because there is the largest beach chair in the world measuring 6.40 x 4.15 x 3.33 meters. There is room for at least seventy people here.

Heringsdorf Concert Pavilion

Highlight • Monument

In a prime location by the sea, the concert shell, located between the Heringsdorf pier and the Kaiserbädersaal, invites you to events of all kinds. This primarily includes musical performances, but also, for example, the Usedom International Cabaret Festival.

Seaside resorts of Heringsdorf and Bansin - Usedom Island

Heringsdorf isn't exactly a place that excites me. It's the island's holiday hotspot and therefore very crowded. I also think the high-rise buildings near the promenade don't make a pretty impression.

But if you're already on Usedom, you should also visit Heringsdorf. :-)

It's actually great to run along the beach and promenade, but it's tiring with today's storm and snowfall.
I think I've fulfilled my thalassotherapy today😊👍🥾.

A few days' break with the kids on Usedom. Today, in sunny, windy weather, we walked from Bansin to Heringsdorf. The pier was supposed to be our destination. I had hoped for more, but the commercialism really put me off. Anyway, we saw it once...but the small private concert in the spa gardens was a treat. We also discovered a …

Along the beach from Bansin to Heringsdorf and back along the promenade

Today it was supposed to go to Bansin, just run out in the direction the kids indicated.

A round from Heringsdorf to Basin and back. Added along the beach, back along the promenade. The banging increases sharply this New Year's Eve.
