The road along the Ems from Pbg to Leer is closed at the Friesenbrücke (construction work). Construction workers waved people through on foot. A detour through the town is signposted. In Weener, "to the right of the harbor" is the wrong choice. So, turn left and then, at the end, over the barrage.
