I had announced a walk for today, so a slow hike, also under the aspect that I expected different participants than usual. And so it was! However, during the hike I quickly learned that “inclines” should be avoided for a walk. So next year it will be flatter. Exactly at 10 o'clock, eleven participants started in Kapellensüng to walk (hike) to the Oberbüschem campsite. At first it was a good 2 km uphill, taking into account many smaller breaks. The intended break location was unfortunately secured by construction fences. Danger of collapse, storm sends its regards. Meter-long deep, washed-out furrows, path-wide puddles, drooping branches, a hike straight out of a picture book. No rain, sun, clouds, wonderful views as far as Lindlar and towards Thier. Even a wild orchid was discovered by Alfons and left there! At the campsite we now took a longer break, after all there are tables and seating where our Helmut recited a poem from the 1938 years. Past a landslide, right on the square, which was secured with concrete Lego bricks, we went on towards Süng. At some point we saw the church in the distance and the announced storm in the clouds. Dry, however, we just barely reached the hiking car park, where I was said goodbye with a loud "Fresh up". Norbert V1

14 brave people are open to surprises: where are you going? How long will we be on the road? From the Lindlar market square the way leads us to the town hall. We cross the street and walk on part of the Steinhauer path towards Vorderrübach. The cleared areas are now partially overgrown with balsam, fortunately other areas have already been reforested. We keep to the left, go up a meadow and then over a narrow path towards Hönighausen. Above Hönighausen we turn left and look forward to the cool breeze in the forest. After a while we are back on the Steinhauerpfad and take a look at the quarry. It is now quite warm and we are glad that only a short part of the route lies ahead of us. Our surprise hike ends around noon on the market square. We say goodbye in a good mood, the next hike together is sure to come!

From the meeting point at the Scheeler Mühle we walk in the direction of Dassiefen. The babbling Scheelbach is to the right of our path. It goes leisurely up the path, the cool July morning means well to us. We look into the Leppetal and approach the beautiful view above Dassiefen. Benches invite you to take a break here. We continue through the (former) forest, a small path leads us down to the Eibach castle ruins. We enjoy the mountain idyll and then return on the Rudi Hoffmann path back to the Scheeler Mühle, again with the Scheelbach.

Storm BERND hit us all and the journey to Süttenbach for the planned hike turned out to be more than difficult, as known access routes could be blocked, flooded with water or simply not used due to the lack of roads. We finally managed to get there from Marienheide via Engelskirchen and the lepped landfill, always mountain up! At least 7 hikers gathered at the destination, albeit extremely apologetically late, to hike a planned preliminary tour. We completed our 7 km in almost 3 hours in sunshine and absolutely dry over washed-out paths, muddy fields, still dripping forests. Except for the laundry, because the sauna climate did the rest. Sunday, half past nine in Germany. Rainy and no prospect of sun. Still feel like a little tour and appointment posted via SGV gehtApp. Contrary to expectations, we became 6 hiking friends who enjoyed wonderful views of Hülsenbusch and the Gelpe Valley from Wegescheid. Norbert SGV-V1

It was that time again: Corona allows hiking with boyfriend and girlfriend. So, according to the hiking program, 9 enthusiastic people and an overwhelmed dog met. Meeting point Marktplatz, we passed the church and took secret paths that even inveterate Lindlar residents did not know, to the Lindlar railway line. We followed this to Sülztalstrasse, and then walked along the Rameil ponds. People, all the ponds overgrown and the herons in the trees looking for food. Unfortunately there weren't any snails to be found there either, and so we "walked" on to the LVR open-air museum to go to the nearest ice cream parlor after crossing the park, which was lured over and over with blooming bushes. We left the burn-out clinic under construction on the left. Hope we never need them

Just to the Möhne reservoir. My hiking friend Anton had this idea and that's how it was done. Packed your backpack, hiked, climbed the tower and then had a delicious meal in the gatehouse. Outside, without corona restrictions! Unfortunately there was a well-known ice cream parlor on the way back that crossed our path. Well, that had to be the case too
