After Wernigerode, we made a detour to the Bodetal in Thale.
The path along the Bode to the Gasthaus Königsruhe is easy and easy to walk on. But you should definitely go further to the Teufelsbrücke. The path becomes more arduous and sturdy shoes are an advantage, but this is actually the nicer part.
