The south bank path leads over finely gravelled ground. The path winds along in pleasant shade. There are a few short, steep climbs, some with gradients approaching 12%. Overall, it's worth the detour.

The Millstätter See
A short walk around the lake in the afternoon. The starting point was Döbriach. A place on the eastern tip of the lake. From there it went along the south bank. A good drivable gravel road with short steep sections. Almost completely located in the forest, which repeatedly offers a view of the lake. On the west …

Family tour with some steep but still manageable climbs. Start at the eastern end and first along the southern shore with beautiful views of the lake. About halfway through, rest on the north-west bank and return relaxed along the north bank.

It was great again!!! Lake Millstätter See is and remains my first choice in Carinthia 👊🙃👍. Then another 4 hours in the sauna in the bathhouse in Millstatt, and Sunday was perfect 😘

Stop at Millstätter See - once around - done many times - always nice.
Today we noticed the climbing park on the main road for the first time. 👍 that means we can drive around often. From north to south along the forest, up and down.... there weren't that many cyclists on the road. 😉

Test ride after I had to completely replace my rim tapes due to constant air loss...somehow some of them had dissolved...you don't have anything else to do on holiday 😅...nice ride around the lake suitable for everyone, so there was a lot going on along the way...

Thank you, it looked even better live

Great round on the one hand it went through the villages along the road. Everything with Radl Weg. Back on the other side in the forest. Always along the lake. Really nice to drive.

4 days visiting my parents in Austria 😊, should actually be a work assignment, but you have to make time for biking 🤣. It was a nice easy walk around Lake Millstatt in the most beautiful weather 🤗 Unfortunately we're going back tomorrow.
