October 29, 2024,🇦🇹 Bad Gastein - Kaiserin Elisabeth Promenade entlang der Gasteiner Ache
If you start the hike in the village, you can go up to the very top (12th?) floor in the parking garage (elevator if necessary) and take the exit there to the south. The footpath next to the parking garage is currently (Oct 2024) closed.
Alternatively, you can start at the waterfall and climb up towards the Ache there.

My goal today was not to take landscape photos, but only to photograph things that are in the immediate vicinity, near the path. Even without paying much attention to the beautiful mountain scenery, it was a nice walk …

We decided to walk along the Gasteiner Ache towards Böckstein again. In Böckstein it started to drizzle slightly so we turned around. We managed to get back to our accommodation dry. The highlight of this …

Since today the weather and especially the temperatures correspond to the season, there was only a short walk between Böckstein and Bad Gastein along the Ache.

Today we walked to Altböckstein. It is a journey into the past. In the Altböckstein Mining Museum you can learn interesting facts about the mining era in the Gastein mountains. Since we already knew the museum from previous visits, we only looked at the buildings from the outside. Which is always interesting. My highlight of today's hike is the photo …
