The building is not only intended for visitors to the Geiseltal, but is also intended to provide shelter for protected animals such as bats.

Nice wooden tower with a great view of the lake.
Just watch out, it's made of wood and needs care.

The East Beach. Frankleben opens the bathing experience at the Geiseltalsee. Very, very busy on weekends, so I recommend the morning hours or later evening. Seating is available, as is a snack bar.

With almost 18.4 km², the Geiseltalsee is the largest artificial lake in Germany. The cycle path around the Geiseltalsee is 26 km long.
All 3 observation towers were approached.
After the family had joined, the port of Branbedra was approached again. 😅

Driving the route clockwise is a lot of fun. It wasn't the last time that I did the lap on my bike ...
Weather was great too!

I took advantage of the holiday and enjoyed a leisurely drive around Lake Geiseltal.

The highlight was the sunshine and the break at the winery 🍷☀️.

Unfortunately, as always, it was over far too quickly.

Beautiful weather, made a quick decision to go to Braunsbedra and did a lap around the Geiseltalsee. I am satisfied with my manpower.

Now I understand why so many "Komootlers" come here.
Because it is so absolutely beautiful!
Great cycle paths and a beautiful location and of course this wonderful natural landscape.
Everything is super well maintained and clean. First-class holiday homes for a lovely little vacation.
I will definitely come back here. 👍
