Very varied tour. Depressing start at the former Langenstein concentration camp. Then we went up the Hoppelberg to the Hoppelnase and after a detour through the Langenstein castle park we went back over the Gläserner Mönch.

Unfortunately we just missed the opening times of the cave dwellings.

Nice hike starting at a memorial. Beautiful old town with quaint details. The old cave dwellings are accessible free of charge and look like they are from another world. Then we went to a small lake, to the glass monk via a long, steep staircase. A very exciting and interesting round in things-Anhalt around Langenstein.

This time to Langenstein with its cave dwellings, which remind a little of small hobbit caves. It went over the Hoppelberge to the Langenstein-Zwieberge memorial and then over the Thekenberge back to the starting point.

😱🫣😢😕It was a very moving, emotional, and goosebump-inducing tour at the beginning and end,
the Langenstein Concentration Camp Memorial😢...when you read through everything about how the people there used to live: no food, no hygiene, no new clothes, and then we complain about little things🤷🤔😳, it really moves me today☹️.
