Unfortunately we just missed the opening times of the cave dwellings.

The tour was beautiful and very varied. We went over the Hoppelberg through the Langenstein castle park and the town to the Glass Monk.

Great paths over the Hoppelberg and along the southern edge of the Spiegelberge. In between there is important historical reminder and finally a look into the cave dwellings.

I began this varied tour by visiting the castle park. There are countless beautiful old trees here. The castle itself is used for therapeutic purposes.

the Langenstein Concentration Camp Memorial😢...when you read through everything about how the people there used to live: no food, no hygiene, no new clothes, and then we complain about little things🤷🤔😳, it really moves me today☹️.
