The nature reserve is around 42 hectares small and is located south-east of Ahrensburg on the edge of Hoisdorf. It protects six artificially created fish ponds with the adjacent shore zones.
I don't think you'll get lost in this little NSG by accident. Despite its size, it offers a varied nature with lots of water, forest, meadows and pastures.
