The Hoisdorfer Teiche are an ensemble of six individual ponds and their riparian zones are under nature protection. The Hoisdorf ponds are located in the southeastern area of the municipality of Hoisdorf. In the west and north they are bordered by the street Moorweg/Achtern Diek and by the grounds of the youth hostel Lichtensee. The Jungfernstieg runs to the east, the Dorfstraße with the historic village center to the south-east.
