March 8, 2025,Talsperre Hohenleuben – Umrundung ☀️⭕♻️✅
We walked around the dam over hill and dale and meadows and fields♻️ with beautiful views of the reservoir. 📷. We started between Lunzig and Hain at the hiking car park. There were some very good paths but we also went along the edge of the fields and over pastures. I think a little later, when there are animals in …

Today we went for a short but very nice walk ☀️🥾🥾☀️ around the Hohenleuben dam. On a Tuesday in November - the walk was incredibly quiet 👍 - well, only the "pensioners" 😉 have time.

But it was a good walk.

... until this morning never heard of the dam 🙂
But it is a place of silence ... as few people as I have met on the round ... a handful 🖐🏼

🥾 Actually wanted to ride my bike again today 🚴🏽‍♂️, my wife to go for a little run. 🥾Whoever finally prevailed is unmistakable 😜Quickly chose a round at Komoot, and we were already sitting in the car, armed with the camera.📷
It was a very nice round in wonderful weather ☀️

The sun was shining so beautifully this morning that we only did the bare essentials at home and then it was time for a few lenses and my lens ball... You! You! You and you! Come along! And everything disappeared into the backpack, into the car and off we went to the Leubatalsperre. A nice tour. And since the sun …

The hike along the side of the dam near Hohenleuben was sometimes quite adventurous: paths that were no longer passable due to grazing cows and therefore had to be bypassed, sometimes very tall grass or paths along barley fields... But you hardly meet anyone, which makes up for the effort 😉.

Showing Translation

Most of the trails are very good.
We walked counter-clockwise.
On the route from the dam wall in the direction of the parking lot, however, some of the paths can no longer be found or have been plowed away. Unfortunately often only beaten paths.
