While others already have hundreds of kilometers on the clock, mine proudly shows 25km for the year 2026. 😜

I really hope there will be a few more this year than last year. 🫣

It should be doable, I just need to get my butt moving and defeat my inner 🐷🐕. 🤣

Easter! 🐣

My goodness, where have the last 3 months gone. Just celebrated New Year's Eve and now completed our Easter march. 😅

Of course, with our friends and eggnog. The national drink of the Vogtlanders at Easter. 🤣

It was a beautiful day with lots of laughter, eggnog, and delicious food at Gasthof

Temperatures are in the single digits and the wind is obviously coming straight from the deepest Siberia without detours.🥶

And yet! Many a flower and blossom doesn't seem to mind. They are either emerging from the earth or from the bud. They definitely won't be stopped. And there are more and more of

As it's going to be another intensive week of meetings, the body needs to be exercised in other ways. 😜

So, alternating between jogging and photography, or as today, simply enjoying the sounds of nature. 🥰

It's too windy for taking pictures today anyway. The subjects simply fly away. 🤣

And look what we found! New species were spotted. Another sign that spring is definitely on its way. 🤭

Everything was buzzing around outside. Like bees around the pussy willows.



Whether in cars, on foot, by bike, or in their own gardens. It was bustling everywhere you looked.

-when plump bumblebees stagger from flower to flower rather than fly.



-when flies sit blissfully sleepy in the sun.



-when blackbirds, thrushes, finches, and all the others gather materials for their nests.



When you can observe all of this, spring is unstoppable. 🥰

What a day it was today

First a hesitant whine, and then there was no stopping me. 🫢

The sun was so tempting today that I simply had to go outside.



So I set off on familiar paths, past well-known spots. 🥰 My destination for today was the birch trees in the birch grove, glowing in the sunlight.

Since we have a longer, multi-day hike planned in May, in somewhat challenging terrain, today's tour could easily be considered a test run. 😎

Conclusion: Oh dear! 🤪

My fitness and stamina are nonexistent. 🫩

What a struggle, even just a slight uphill climb

Today I wanted to find out again. 🫢

Am I faster than flowing water? Can I run my 10km again? And if so, how long will it take?
