A must see if you are in Peloponnese! Historical Greek fortified city, also called "the Gibraltar of the East" because it resembles the real Gibraltar. Monemvasia is located on a high rocky peninsula that is connected to the mainland via a narrow strip and a bridge.

Our morning walk takes us on the Monemvasia Trail. It's cloudy, only 15° and there's a strong breeze so it feels like 5°. We set off with hats, gloves and down jackets. But we warm up faster than expected, especially when the rocky path ends in climbing. It was adventurous. The surf was vertically 10 to 20 m below us …
