A must see if you are in Peloponnese! Historical Greek fortified city, also called "the Gibraltar of the East" because it resembles the real Gibraltar. Monemvasia is located on a high rocky peninsula that is connected to the mainland via a narrow strip and a bridge.

You can walk to the right to the historic center via the asphalt road, but this walk is 'left' where you have to follow the red dots. NB! The end is pure rock scrambling; look after!!
