Hiking in the Eifel (1): Monschau circuit

It starts at the former Felsenkeller brewery uphill to the Ehrensteinley. A first wonderful view of the Eifel.

After the descent, it goes a few kilometers along the Rur. Very idyllic. Only the gentle rushing of the small river can be heard.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! 🧑‍🎄 Since the last few days were filled with cozy get-togethers and lots of delicious food, I took advantage of yesterday for a little trip to Monschau. I walked along the Rur River through the Rur Valley in glorious sunshine and -3 degrees Celsius. It was lovely, as always. 😊
