Today, we visited the Lippe River on beautiful paths through fields and meadows. The private castle in Hovestadt, with its freely accessible baroque garden, is worth a visit. Finally, a quick detour to the beautiful spa gardens in Bad Sassendorf with its magnificent statues and the graduation tower.

There are some great hikes to be had around Lippetal. A parking lot we liked and had already named because it had a restroom was unusable due to a fairground setup. We found an alternative parking spot at a school during the school holidays, and it was OK. I can always recommend the area.
