Repeat of the tour from April 27, 2025. But this time with a lot of climbing due to the fallen trees from the last big storm.
We didn't recognize the route several times and had to improvise.
I liked the spring tour better...

Today's hike begins at Johannisstift and takes us past animal enclosures to Kuhlake. The hiking trail that runs on both sides of the Kuhlake takes us to the ice cellar clearing. We start this short hike at the animal enclosures near Johannisstift. Many families with children take advantage of the dry and spring-like weather to visit.

But just a few meters further we are almost alone. We hike along the Kuhlake to the wet meadows near the Spandauer Eiskeller and then back again. Very nice.
