The route is closed on the way without any information about it being visible beforehand. So the actual 13 km became a corresponding extension.

As always in Mauritius: ascents and descents are to be enjoyed with extreme caution when it rains and shortly afterwards. But the number of meters in altitude is meaningful enough 😉
