After the hike from Courois corner to the 7 colored earths, we hiked via Ebony Forest to Chalets Chamarel. From there you have a breathtaking view of the Le Morne peninsula and the multicolored ocean. After a refreshment in the restaurant, we started the descent to La Gaulette and after a very adventurous way and rain shower we made it down well.

Nice hike through the forest from La Gaulette up the mountain but than you can only walk on the streets. And as you enter the national park from behind you are not allowed to enter the highlights as you have to pay the entrance fee in Chamarel and it's no fun going down 5km to the entrance and than going …
