In Clemenshammer, a settlement that was first mentioned in 1580, I head north. It goes uphill to the hamlet of Westen. The place is located on a ridge above the Saalbach and Gelpetal, where hammer mills and grinding mills were established in the Middle Ages. Several houses are listed buildings.
