The creek bed is colored reddish. Here you have another chance to replenish water supplies. Watch out in heavy rain, because the path crosses the creek bed here.

The ascent from the direction of Fernpass / Bichlbächle Jöchle is easy to do. Important spots just before the summit are stranded. If you get down here, you should definitely be free from giddiness and surefooted.

October 9, 2022,🍂🤩⛰Mystische Tour durch Nebel 🌫 zum Roter Stein 2366m ⛰😍🍁
Today we did a tour to the Roter Stein 2366m with @Tanja Alpenzauber and @derKlein with everything the weather allowed.

The tour has a T3 level of difficulty, but the exposed areas are well insured with wire ropes.

The tour takes about 8-9 hours and has an altitude difference of 1200 meters.

We started just before Bichlbächle.

Now we went to the Bichlbächler Jöchle.
It was completely foggy here and there was a fairly fresh wind. Now gloves and wind jacket had to be pulled out of the bag *lol*

Up on a fairly rocky path to the Bichlbächler Jöchle. There, the first fantastic view of the mountains. Then relaxed for a while along the "ridge". Then came the final ascent to the summit, initially quite steep serpentines (my inner self gasped and …

Today I started from the free Kleinstockach car park to go to the Roter Stein. The paths and paths were dry and easy to walk on. Shortly before the summit it is very steep and you have to scramble a bit; some places are secured with a rope. The view at the summit today was amazing, you could see forever, …
