From Bichlbächle in mid-July 2021 as a day tour during the week after a 240 km journey by car. It was a real pleasure in almost complete solitude, 12.2 km at 1200 m ascent, wonderful, I am really enthusiastic about the Lech Valley. After a leisurely climb through very green and heavily flowering terrain I arrived at the Bichlbächer Jöchle, where I was almost speechless because of the sheer beauty. Then around the Schafsköpfle and on in the direction of the Roter Stein, shortly before the summit a few simple climbing sections in partly insured terrain, then through a gap and in a few meters the summit was reached. Nice pause at the top under the cross in the most wonderful solitude, enjoyed the wonderful view and then after a long time started the descent on the other side. After I had met a total of 1 fellow hikers on the ascent, maybe a handful of fellow hikers came towards me on the descent on the other side, that was it. The descent was beautiful again, the alpine plants were growing splendidly at that time, I could hardly get enough of them! Once at the bottom it was a bit annoying, I had to go up the tar road to Bichlbächle to get back to the car. Otherwise top tour, unfortunately no opportunity to reward yourself with a freshly tapped wheat, but it was almost deserted;). In the end back in the car and drove home happy. Highly recommend the tour.
