Yellow Wall Route (via ferrata)

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

Very reasonable A-via ferrata. The 3-rope bridge can be bypassed and is just a Gimmic, thank goodness! To practice and for the entry super! Nevertheless, no one should go without via ferrata equipment (with helmet!)!

Beautiful hike over the Tegelberg to the Branderschrofen with a descent via the tourist castle. :)

In fairly good weather, the climb was steep at first, so we did work up a bit of a sweat. Despite the holiday and the good weather, the crowds of people were still limited, as were the few remaining snow. Since we were at …

Finally great weather..., 🌞 all the time! Today's tour started a little below the Tegelberg valley station 🚡 (Schwangau) in one of the parking lots.

I chose to climb up the "Yellow Wall" to the Tegelberghaus 🏡. This is an easy practice via ferrata 🧗 of category A with occasional wire rope safety devices. The climb can also be managed …

Today we went to Tegelberg with Sahra. So, into the car and off we went. We took the cable car up to the mountain station. The plan was to go to the Ahornspitze and back to the mountain station, then descend via the Marienbrücke, past the castle and back to the car.

Wonderful tour 🤩😍 from 🏰 Neuschwanstein over the great Marienbrücke with brilliant viewpoints to the Brandnerschrofen ⛰️ (the last piece requires sure-footedness and a head for heights) with an extensive summit rest.

Then back via the Rohrkopfhütte with a stop 🍻🍰☕️ back to the parking lot.

Did a wonderful 🤩 mountain tour ⛰️ today, you should have some stamina - sturdy shoes 🥾 - and be sure-footed.
Cleo🐾 and i🚶‍♂️ are thrilled.

Since the Pöllat Gorge apparently never opens again 🙈 ... we walked past Neuschwanstein Castle 🏰 and of course took a lot of photos 😂
It's nice... 🥰
We stood in the traffic jam in front of the Marienbrücke (from how many people it probably collapses... 😆) and then we were happy that hardly anyone went even a step further …

Showing Translation

Pöllatschlucht and Marienbrücke are unfortunately still closed.
Therefore we are over stones over the Pöllat.
So we were completely alone on the whole tour.
Only at the summit was there really something going on.
