This nature reserve around the Meuse is a water-rich paradise for plants, animals and hikers. We walked along grassy river banks accompanied by flowers, butterflies and waterfowl. To Eijsden Castle.

Beautiful start at sunrise through the Eijsder Beemden along the Maas. Continue through the center of Eijsden. We had to improvise a bit at the castle as the gate was closed. After some adventure through the nettles, I finally got to the park. Back through parks, past meadows and a forest.
