May 5, 2024,Mallorca 🇪🇸 08: Vom Cuber auf l‘ Ofre (1091 m) und Na Franquesa (1067 m)

At 1093 meters high, the Puig de l'Ofre is one of the ten highest mountains in the Balearic Islands. Its almost perfect pyramid indicates that it is of volcanic origin. It is located in the mountains of Escorca above Soller and sits just behind the Cuber reservoir.

We can only recommend the tour! We started at 6:30 a.m. and it wasn't too hot despite the daytime temperature being 38 degrees. Great path, amazing views and lots of sheep, goats and donkeys. Just make sure you stay on the official route. The other paths marked on the map are not easy to walk!
