Start in Erfenstein, via Spangenberg Castle to the Totenkopfhütte. First stop there. But on to the Hellerhütte. Comfortable rest there. Return to Erfenstein through the beautiful Höllisch Valley. Overall again wonderful quiet round on paths and forest roads.

Today it was supposed to be a 🏰 and we decided on Spangenberg Castle. We didn't expect to find such a beautiful castle. Nice and rustic and cozy. We took a spritzer break and continued on to the Hellerhütte. We can recommend this tour without reservation. Very beautiful paths and forest areas.
