Experience and panoramic Haugstein circular hike (Upper Austria) through the Sauwald above the Danube valley, briefly along a nature trail on well-signposted forest and meadow paths. The entire tour offers many great views of the mountains of the Bavarian Forest to Hochficht (and into the Salzburger Land with a view of the Alps on the way back).

I actually wanted to go somewhere else today...but due to a roadblock I got stuck in Vichtenstein and spontaneously decided to do the Haugstein circuit.
It was a wonderful circuit despite the lack of sun and warmth.
