Not a big deal these days to build a bridge. Back then it was a lot more hard work. Thanks for this great way.

One of my favorite routes. Interesting in every season. Today I looked at what is already emerging in nature.
Unfortunately I had a short break in the recording. However, the path cannot be missed.

Super nice tour... Definitely take your bathing suit with you. Also highly recommended with a dog. 98% nature trails, almost always along the river.

Wonderful tour with very changing paths.
The tour always runs along the Ilz, sometimes to the right of the river, sometimes to the left, sometimes close to it and then again 40 m above the water. In the course of the Ilz is crossed several times.
The paths change from wide (running next to each other) to narrow, soft paths …

Only about 3 km from Passau there is this beautiful hiking trail along the Ilz loops with a rock tunnel for the Trift, the Triftsperre, the Oberilzmühle reservoir, Reschenstein Castle and the Hals castle ruins. We recommend.

Today, our Meet5 hiking group, consisting of 1 man and 8 women, went to the Ilztal near Passau. From Hals, we hiked partly along the Ilz on beautiful forest paths to the Oberilzmühler reservoir. From there, we continued on the Pandurensteig directly along the river to the Triftsperre, where we stopped at the inn of the same name. After eating, …

What a wonderful tour 🤩! I'm a fan of riverside trails and this is one of the prettiest I've had the pleasure of encountering. After the tough ascent with a view of the Ilztal, it's just relaxing. The eastern loop is the most beautiful for me because it is wildly romantic. An old castle (ruin) 🏰, the village of Hals, …

It's my favorite tour💞 and I've been looking forward to it again for a long time. It's a holiday in Bavaria ⬜🟦 and I 🎂, the weather is fantastic, and I'm treating myself to a delicious trout in the beer garden to celebrate. What a day 🥰!

To escape the hustle and bustle of family shopping in Passau, I made a small 8 km circular hike 🚶🏻‍♂️ab Oberilzmühle. Most of the time it's always flat along the Ilz, before adding a few meters in altitude. For an escape from large furniture stores 🏙️ highly recommended.
