“Each of these crosses can tell its own story and what motivated people to erect ‘their’ cross in this spot. (...) These wayside crosses were erected as visible symbols and attract the attention of many people. The cross is a symbol of life. It stands as a sign of our Christian hope and aims to direct our gaze to Jesus Christ, who overcame death (...). The cross belongs to our lives, just as it did to the life of Jesus. The market square in Kelberg is a place of historical importance, because in 1795 Kelberg was named a market village. This had a legal meaning at the time, because it gave the place the right to hold markets and was considered a step towards elevation to the city. At that time Kelberg had an elevated position. Today you will find some information boards here about the history route that starts here, the Eifelsteig and other hiking and cycling routes as well as general information about the Kelberger Land.

The KleeLandrunde Sarmersbach starts right at the end of the "Peetchen" with the crossing of the Sarmersbach over this small bridge. Bikers or quad riders can cross the small stream right next to it. Hikers can cross this small bridge with dry feet.
