켈베르크(Kelberg) 불카나이펠(Vulkaneifel) 지구에 있는 1660년산 길가 십자가는 역사적인 현무암 십자가로, 이 지역에서 가장 오래된 종교 기념물 중 하나입니다. 원래는 현재의 프론펠트(Frohnfeld) 신개발 지역인 아데나우(Adenau)로 가는 옛길에 세워져 있었습니다. 새겨진 1660년이라는 연도는 아마도 이 십자가가 세워진 해를 나타낼 것입니다. 이 소박한 돌 십자가는 여행자에게 보호와 방향을 제시하기 위해 중요한 길을 따라 종교적 상징물을 세우던 전통을 상기시켜 줍니다. 26년 동안 다른 곳에 서 있던 이 십자가는 헌신적인 시민들에 의해 원래의 위치로 돌아왔습니다. 그 과정에서 핀켄베크(Finkenweg)의 공간도 새롭게 단장되었습니다.

The monument commemorates the racing driver Juan Manuel Fangio, who won the German Grand Prix held on the Nürburgring Nordschleife three times - each time for different teams: in 1954, 1956 and 1957.

Probably the most photographed object at the Nürburgring and in the Eifel. Definitely a highlight.

You can also drive the old Nordschleife, the so-called "Green Hell", in your own car. It currently costs 30 euros per lap and an annual ticket costs 3,000 euros.

The Nürburgring is a legend as one of the longest, most demanding and most frequently used race tracks in the world. Every year, numerous visitors experience music and sporting events as well as pure motorsport at racing events. Amateurs and professionals from a wide range of racing classes compete against each other and their vehicles on two courses: the traditional Nordschleife with a length of 20.832 kilometers and the modern 5.148-kilometer Grand Prix circuit.

Juan Manuel Fangio was an Argentinian racing driver. He shaped the early years of Formula 1 and became world champion in this class five times – a record that was only surpassed by Michael Schumacher in 2003.
