Very nice route with a surprising amount of single tracks and nice flow, with an emtb even the loose yellow sand is fun, sometimes there are also paths next to the indicated route that you can cycle with an mtb, the route is really recommended

In 1899, the farm that belonged to the castle was demolished. A villa took its place. This was the basis for the current castle-like building, which was equipped with a tower at the beginning of the 20th century. Former town hall of the municipality of Maarheeze In 1938, the then municipality of Maarheeze bought the property and the castle was converted into a town hall. This remained until 1997, when the municipality of Maarheeze merged into the merged municipality of Cranendonck.

You come across them regularly in limburg: sunken roads. Due to leaching by rainwater and/or due to frequent use (for example livestock or vehicles), as a result of which the road lies between two slopes. This hollow road is not massive, but on the other hand it is special in the Brabant landscape.
