A lovely long stretch to cycle and let your thoughts wander in beautiful nature.

The castle is located on an island near the Dommel River and dates from around 1400, but is no longer in its original state. It was likely renovated between 1504 and 1509 by Jan Heyns, one of the architects of St. John's Cathedral in 's-Hertogenbosch.

A manually operated ferry takes you to a beautiful walking and cycling area on the edge of Den Bosch.

From the cycle path through the Gement you have a beautiful view of the skyline of 's-Hertogenbosch.

The Sint-Lambertuskerk in Cromvoirt was built in 1888. The current church in neo-Gothic style was designed by architect Carl Weber. It is a three-aisled cruciform basilica with a crossing tower. The tower was added separately in 1891 to prevent settlement. The tower was blown up by the Germans in 1944 and after the war it was only restored to the height of the nave and adorned with a saddle roof. From the cycle path from Giersbergen to the Rustende Jager the sand dunes are clearly visible. Many unpaved footpaths and MTB routes also lead here.

There are three standard mills in the Heusden fortress. These standard mills adorn the appearance of the fortress and were placed as part of the restoration of the fortress (from 1969). They were rebuilt on the original location where they stood when they were still in full operation (14th century). The three grain mills are fully functional, that is to say; they are able to grind grain into flour. A grinding chair has been installed in all mills (two millstones connected to the going work).
