This is probably my favorite spot in the entire waterland. This bridge is really super beautiful and the whole road to or from Amsterdam is so wonderfully quiet. Note: It is narrow in some parts and there is always gravel on the road

If you cycle this direction from Amsterdam the contrast could not be greater. It remains beautiful!

The quay was renovated at the end of 2021. A concrete walkway consisting of prefabricated panels was chosen as the top layer. Walking on the quay is now pleasant.
