On the east side there is an alternative route up to the fort which also passes through a short section of iron path and a long, slender ladder that overcomes a wall of about fifteen metres.

The Rifugio Monte Stino, at 1,437 m, is nestled in the Val Sabbia, between Lake Idro and Lake Garda. Opened in 2014, it offers typical local cuisine and large outdoor spaces. There is no possibility of overnight stay. Next to the refuge is the Chiesetta degli Alpini. From the refuge a splendid panorama

The bivouac is located near Cima Caldoline and can be reached either by mountain bike along the mountain pines path

Closed Tuesday and Wednesday, otherwise always open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Great view and absolutely worth seeing.

Beautiful summit, but you should bear in mind that a climb at the beginning of April is still associated with a lot of snow (up to 4 meters), which makes the climb more difficult.
