The Rifugio Monte Stino, at 1,437 m, is nestled in the Val Sabbia, between Lake Idro and Lake Garda. Opened in 2014, it offers typical local cuisine and large outdoor spaces. There is no possibility of overnight stay. Next to the refuge is the Chiesetta degli Alpini. Monte Pizzocolo offers an incredibly beautiful view

Closed Tuesday and Wednesday, otherwise always open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

One of the most magical places on the entire Lake Garda, for the view that ranges from Monte Rosa, Adamello, Monte Baldo and all of central and southern Garda. All enriched by woods of remarkable beauty

The Monte Stino refuge is a recent construction. It is located in a strategic position for excursions, both on foot and by bike or by car that can be done in the area. In addition to being famous for its cuisine, the refuge also has beds to sleep in. In the surrounding area there are some ancient military posts, for fans of the genre.

Cozy refuge, open in the summer, closed on Wednesdays.

After a partly very steep driveway on - asphalted - old military road you reach the beautifully situated Refugio. Perfect for a rest and refreshment. From here it is only a few meters in altitude to the summit of Monte Stino. It is also not far to the old positions on the rocky outcrop above Lake Idro with their wonderful views. This is where the legendary trail with 136 switchbacks starts.
