The Rifugio Monte Stino, at 1,437 m, is nestled in the Val Sabbia, between Lake Idro and Lake Garda. Opened in 2014, it offers typical local cuisine and large outdoor spaces. There is no possibility of overnight stay. Next to the refuge is the Chiesetta degli Alpini. Monte Pizzocolo offers an incredibly beautiful view

At almost 1,600 m, Monte Pizzocolo is the highest elevation at the south-western end of Lake Garda and the panorama from the summit is accordingly magnificent. On a clear day, the view extends far into the Po Valley and to the north, the glacial mountains Adamello and Presanella shine.

The Corna di Salo which can be reached without much effort either by bike or on foot offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Gulf of Salo
