We were treated terribly, even though we understood the busy day and the inadequate food planning. We called the day before to book and were told that it was not necessary and that the kitchen would be open until 3 pm, we went up with our 6 year old daughter and at 2 pm they told us that the kitchen was closing because they had run out of food. We were wrong not to bring anything from the valley, after 2 and a half hours of walking we had to continue for another two hours to Erve to stop for food. Even continuing to take out dishes, for those who had arrived first, we had asked for even just a slice of cheese or salami or milk for a 6 year old girl. In particular, one of the girls at the cash register was very rude.

Pure mountain trail, with animal sightings, historic trails, even very technical ones with stunning views and panoramas like few other peaks can offer.

I wanted to report an inaccuracy of the track corresponding to the circular route recorded on the GPS. It should not be considered when following the route. It was probably a loss of signal.

The Cornabusa Sanctuary, located in the heart of the Imagna Valley, is one of the most evocative sanctuaries in Lombardy. Built inside a natural cave, the sanctuary is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, venerated in this place since the 16th century. The church has been expanded over the years, while maintaining the charm of the original place of worship carved into the rock. The sanctuary is a destination for pilgrimages and is appreciated for its spiritual atmosphere and spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding valley.
