In view of the small Marian shrine with its depiction of a PIETA that the hiker encounters here, I would like to leave the viewer with a brief thought—actually, it is even a blessing—from Saint Padre Pio (Pio da Pietrelcina, 1887 to 1968): + "May the Mother of Jesus and our Mother always smile upon your spirit and in return receive every heavenly blessing from her most holy Son."

In reality, the town of Selvino is very urbanised, with many houses built especially for tourists. The panorama and nature are somewhat ruined by this monster of intensive urbanization. However, I recommend it for the variety of paths that start from this town.
