Beautiful variant of the asphalt road towards Milies for MTB

Near the entrance to the crossing path (there are the remains of an old watering hole) go down in a SOUTH direction, always straight on, next to the solitary pine tree on the left at the bottom of the meadow, the path in the woods begins.

The climb on the Strada al Monfenera is a panoramic and historic route that winds through chestnut, beech and pine woods, offering suggestive views and a completely asphalted surface. Although it is one of the most accessible routes to climb Monte Grappa, it has challenging sections with gradients between 8% and 12% in the first six hairpin bends. After passing Monfenera, the route continues with ups and downs and hairpin bends towards Monte Tomba and Monte Palon, passing through Salto della Capra and Val delle Mure, where there are tunnels dug into the rock. The route is full of evidence of the Great War, until reaching the Sacrario di Cima Grappa (1,718 meters). From here, the panorama extends from the Dolomites to the Venice Lagoon, making this climb a unique experience between nature and history.

Very technical mule track S2, absolutely avoid in wet conditions. Only doable downhill. Not particularly fun, not very fast.
