Unfortunately, Lake Carezza is always very busy. But you can park easily here and start many different hikes from here.

Located south of the Seiser Alm – the largest high alpine pasture in Europe – the Rosengarten and Latemar region is a popular holiday destination for guests from near and far.

If you park at the paid parking lot by the lake, you pay €4 for 2 hours. The tunnel takes you to the lake and the toilets 😉

The summit of Corno Bianco rises to 2,316 meters above sea level and offers an impressive 360 degree view. From the top, in fact, you can see the Catinaccio, the Latemar, the Val di Non Alps, as well as on Lavazè, the Corno Nero and up to the Val d'Adige. The effort is amply rewarded.

The Torre di Pisa refuge takes its name from the nearby oblique rock spur which recalls the Tuscan tower of the same name. It is the only refuge in the Latemar group and is located on the top of the Cavignon peak at 2671 meters above sea level. You can find info on the refuge here: https://www.rifugiotorredipisa.it/

Great destination, but you can't expect peace and quiet here. The lake is very busy.

From here there are beautiful views of the surrounding mountains!
