The Fontanile Oneta is a typical spring in the Lombardy plain, the result of ancient human intervention that enlarged natural depressions to allow water to emerge. These springs are essential to local agriculture and constitute an ecosystem rich in biodiversity, with clear water and stable temperatures year-round. The area around the Fontanile Oneta is an ideal place for nature walks and to observe the delicate balance between the environment and the rural history of Lombardy.

Fara Olivana con Sola is a small village in the Bergamo plain, of Lombard origin, characterized by a rural setting surrounded by cultivated fields and waterways. Among the main points of interest are the Church of Santo Stefano, one of the oldest in the area, and the archaeological site with a Lombard necropolis discovered during recent excavations. A visit allows you to discover the village's ancient history and appreciate the tranquil atmosphere rooted in its agricultural roots.

The well-maintained and embanked left bank of the Serio River near Romano di Lombardia offers pleasant views of the river and its biodiversity.

Located in a quiet area, in the countryside, it has a small park equipped with tables and benches. There's also a fountain: refresh yourself, but be careful, as the water is not drinkable.

WARNING: Since I last passed through (early spring), the canal's course has been altered, and the footbridge has been moved a few dozen meters. Now, however, it's poorly secured to the ground and decidedly rickety: I can't imagine what it will be like this winter when it's wet and muddy...
