If you don't go there on a mountain bike, you'll hardly reach it.

A small shrine with a Madonna, a typical altar in the valley. There is a bench where you can gather, even though the path does not have any particular slopes.

Two possible itineraries: one managed by the CAI and the other by the “Gruppo sentieri amici della storia di Val Brembilla”, which passes through the historic Calchere.

This lonely hut is the last of the Much group, isolated from the others. The relic of the old skis attached to the facade is beautiful. It would be wonderful to have a picnic on the table in front of the hut.

An exceptional photographic point. The abandoned house is not marked on the maps, you have to walk past it and cross the stream to continue on the path. From here two paths branch off: one heads towards Cadelfoglia for the return, the other goes up to a Calchera; even if the path is not marked on the maps, it was opened and is maintained by the “Gruppo sentieri amici della storia di Val Brembilla”.

Beautiful creek crossing. All these hills have small streams running through them and the trail often crosses them.

It is located in the historic village and is preceded by a charming little square. Above the central door is the image of the Madonna del Carmine, on the sides are painted within scrolls the saints Rocco, who is the protector, and Sebastiano. In 1500 there was already a small shrine dedicated to San Rocco. The interior of the church has a Greek cross plan, to which is added the presbytery that corresponds to the original chapel. The decoration of the choir and the presbytery, in eighteenth-century style, is very beautiful and imaginative and all painted without the aid of stucco. The decoration was restored in 1996. The high altar in gilded lacquered carved wood is also from the eighteenth century and has a tribune in the shape of a small temple. The precious altar was recently restored by the sculptor Luciano Gritti.
