Museums offer an insight into Albanian way of life in this village and if wish to go to raganello but don't fancy the steep hill, you can pay for a lift. The valley below the village is a must see!

At 450 m a.s.l., within the Raganello Gorges nature reserve and in the heart of the Pollino National Park, it is among the historic Albanian communities of Italy, not far from the Ejanina and Frascineto sisters. There is a beautiful bust of Giorgio Castriota welcoming visitors near the central square, on the crossroads.

Beautiful narrow canyon. You think you reached the bottom of the gorge but the view from the bridge is amazing! Try to make the round trip (the path is a bit overgrown and steep but the views on the way up are worth it). It starts on the right when returning from the bridge.
