The cuisine of Parco Nazionale della Sila is the essence of mountain Calabria, drawing from the abundance of nature. The Basilica Sant'Angelo di Acri, in Calabria, is dedicated to San Angelo d'Acri, a Capuchin friar known for his fervent preaching and his miracles. Built in honor of the saint, canonized in 1959 by Pope Pius XII, it is a pilgrimage destination and houses important artistic and religious works linked to his figure.

Villapiana has two hamlets; Villapiana Scalo is one of them. It's a great place as many of the beaches are surrounded by nature. It's worth it!
