Monte Cocuzzo, with its 1541 meters, is the highest peak of the Coastal Chain. The shape reminds a volcano, however today scholars think that it is a mountain of dolomitic formation.

Beaches deserted as early as mid-September. Pleasant path towards Pizzo.

Many bays have been created here over a few kilometers, where there was probably a lot going on before Corona, but now most of it is deserted. Still great to drive along the coastal road while the waves break on the fortifications and you drive along this lonely landscape
