A visit to the village of Alt Rehse is worthwhile. There are many beautiful, well-kept houses and gardens.

The village church, a rectangular plastered brick building with a half-timbered western roof tower, dates from 1757. The pulpit altar with screens dates from the time of its construction, and the lectern dates from the first half of the 18th century. On the way between Klein Nemerow and Bornsmühle you have a great view over the Tollensesee and the surrounding area in the beautiful landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Very well maintained campsite at a fair price with beautiful tent pitches right by the lake. Because of the wind that came over the lake there were no mosquitoes 🥳

It's really funny, you have to look closely to discover all the "gags".

Historical place Learning place At first glance, the village of Alt Rehse, idyllically situated on Lake Tollense, is not that obvious. But behind this small place lies a dark history. In 1935, the Nazis opened a facility there that was unique in the entire German Reich: the "Führerschule der Deutschen Ärzteschaft". But that's not all. A National Socialist model village was built around the school, the construction of which was intended to represent a "nationalistic" ideal of a "German village community".
