A very beautiful castle park and definitely worth a visit🫵😉

Mirow Castle Island is a historic and idyllic destination in the Mecklenburg Lake District. It is home to the magnificent Mirow Castle, which served as the residence of the Dukes of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in the 18th century. Particularly worth seeing are the castle's baroque architecture, the beautiful park, and the impressive Love Island, accessible via a small bridge. Another highlight is the Johanniter Church with its crypt, where members of the ducal family were buried. Its church tower offers impressive views of the surrounding lake landscape. The castle island is an ideal place for strolls, historical explorations, and relaxing hours by the water – a perfect destination for culture and nature lovers.

A little further on, the sun shines through the trees. Looking around us, the moss shines beautifully in this light. We reach a family resort. Children and parents are having fun here. We walk parallel to it and after a short stretch we reach the Wolf Trail. Information boards show the way. The trail explains the wolf's way of life and its history. Very well done and interesting for young and old.
