Great cycling cafe...delicious coffee

It's now a sleepy village of about three thousand inhabitants, just outside Breda. But Dorst has a rather spicy and downright sexually charged past. Until well into the last century, the woods housed a veritable slaughterhouse. Brimming with rutting bucks that mercilessly pounced on any female who came. A statue in Spoorstraat serves as a lasting reminder: the suckling goat.

The text's design emphasizes the fact that the wall in question, due to the compactness of the city at that location, is almost exclusively perceived from an angle. The result is a unique three-dimensional effect, where the text seems to detach from the wall. The typography incorporates a perspective distortion, so that the poem appears to emerge from the wall when viewed from the intersection of Willem II Street and Tuinstraat.

This cool mural is by the owners of pizzeria Rijslust. They'd been working on this project for a year and a half, but couldn't decide what kind of painting they wanted on their restaurant wall. When they contacted artist Paul Watty, it all came together: travel and beer! The owners wanted a travel-themed mural because the pizzeria works with that theme, and the logo of the brewery @brouwerijtij (which funded the project) fit in nicely with it, as it features an ostrich. In Willem II-straat you can admire the beautiful project by Paul Watty. This work of art has been nominated for the top hundred most popular murals of 2021. Street Art Cities visited more than nine hundred cities in 2021 to assess the most beautiful murals. Ultimately, Paul's painting ended up in fourteenth place on the ranking. In his teenage years, Paul's passion for drawing shifted from paper to trains and walls. His artistic expressions on the street became louder. His colorful pieces with character appeared in the Netherlands up to the Moluccas. Paul's artistic talent was noticed and gave him a career as a graphic designer.
