Very good

The section of the JW VB hiking trail that passes through Richtenberg is part of the Greifenweg. This trail connects Bodstedt with Richtenberg and Franzburg and continues to Tribsees where it meets the Via Baltica. The Greifenweg offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the nature of the coastal hinterland and discover historical sites. There are also numerous hikes and walks in the area around Richtenberg that lead through the picturesque countryside. These routes offer a mix of easy and moderate hikes suitable for all fitness levels.

Swimming area. Swim at your own risk.

The bathing area looks quite inviting. There is a covered rest area and the sandy beach looks well-kept. There are many water birds to observe and you have a good view of the small island in the Pütter See.

Very cute. No dogs allowed.

This is where the bike path and hiking trail meet. From here there is a beautiful view of the Richtenberger See and on an information board you can find out more about the area.

Well-kept small swimming area with a rest area and volleyball field. However, bathe at your own risk. The bank is almost completely overgrown with reeds and the bathing area is very weed.
